Claudia Scaringella. Dance Movement Psycoherapist. Dance teacher. Performer and Choreographer.
I believe that creative expression in dance and movement can enhance our communication skills and inspire new dynamic relationship with one’s self and others.
As a therapist and artist, I look at the emotional and expressive content behind non-verbal interaction. Emotion is felt and expressed in motion. One connects with the other.
At the core of any artistic research or therapeutic process, there is always gentle and intimate attention on the sense of self, experienced when feeling/thinking/moving and watching the reality we all share.
Creativity is for me intended as an encounter with our world in connection with the influences we get from our surroundings.
“I feel that the essence of dance is the expression of man – the landscape of his soul. I hope that every dance I do reveals something of myself or some wonderful thing a human can be”. Martha Graham.
